Community Garden

Applications for renting a plot at the Community Garden are now being accepted for 2022. This is your opportunity to grow a garden of your own. There are between 12-16 plots available. The annual fee is $150.00. If you are interested in more information, you are able to retrieve the Garden Club Rules and Guidelines along with an application on the resident portal at resident.actionlife.com or stop by at the Association Clubhouse any Wednesday and speak with Carmen, Action Property Management.

Community Updates

It has been a pleasure meeting many of you in person while being on-site since the start of the year. As a reminder, Action Property Management is onsite on Wednesdays for your Management services. We would like to continue to encourage you to stop by should you have any questions, concerns or to just say “Hello!”

The 2022 Annual Budget has been mailed to all owners. Please take some time to read and review it. If you have any questions please contact Action Property Management.

PET OWNERS – Thank you to all the pet owners who are leashing their pets. Orange County’s animal law states, “A person having custody of any animal shall not permit, either willfully or through failure to exercise due care or control, any such animal to defecate upon any public area, private property, county park or beach. The person having custody of any animal shall immediately remove any feces deposited by such animal”. Pet owners, please leash your pet (s), as per California Law. The Association can issue warning letters and impose a fine on the owner of the pet up to $100.00 for failure to comply.

Happy 4th of July

The Fairway Village Board of Directors and Action Property Management would like to wish all homeowners a happy and safe 4th of July! We hope that you get to share this special day with family and friends.

This is a friendly reminder that fireworks, even “safe and sane” ones, are prohibited in the Community. Please refrain from using any personal fireworks on the property and plan on observing an approved fireworks display at a local venue.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in ensuring that this 4th of July is a fun and safe day for all residents!

Governing Document Restatement Vote

The Vote for the Restated By-Laws and CC&R’s has been extended to Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. As of today, Friday, June 4th we have received 165 ballots. We need an affirmative vote of at least 75% (189 YES votes) of the total voting power of the Association to approve these restated documents.

This vote is to restate the current CC&Rs and By-Laws which are 43 years old with up to date current civil codes and language. If you want to see what has changed, the documents are located on the HOA portal, however, note that 98% of the document has not changed, i.e. changes were made to the number of rentals with time limits (to avoid Air BnB situations) and a headcount change on the Board of Directors.

You can drop off your ballot at the Clubhouse in the locked mailbox outside the entrance to your left. You are also welcome to drop off your ballot at the Clubhouse in person on Wednesdays between 10:00 am and 3:30 pm. If you are missing your ballot, please contact Carmen Portela at 949-450-0202 or cportela@actionlife.com and one will be mailed to you. Please note that the ballot is a bright orange 6×9 sheet, please empty the entire contexts of the large envelope. The Inspectors will only accept ballots in envelopes provided by the Inspector. Ballot envelopes must be signed by the owner to be counted.
